Acne is probably one of the most annoying things about life. That sounds harsh I know, what with war and all, but acne is pretty frustrating none the less. People who deal with chronic breakouts know what I mean - it's embarrassing! So of course the most common place you find acne is on the face - the one place on our bodies we can't hide...unless it's Halloween. It's bad enough having to deal with acne on your face, but body acne? Okay, body acne is definitely the worst! If for no other reason than that body acne treatment products are the most expensive since you need to use so much more.
Acne is a pain to try and get rid of. There are so many acne cure products out there it's hard to know what is worth the money. Then there's the added problem of finding a product that works. It's plenty easy to find acne 'treatments' - soaps that will keep your skin clean - but what about an acne cure?
Try finding an actual cure for acne at any shop or online store, it's unheard of! There's always a variety of colorful soaps and fragrant creams to put on your skin, making you feel like you're combating the issue, but in some cases the products can make the problem worse. Some people even experience side effects from store bought products, like chemical burns, dry flaky skin, or clogged pores (more breakouts).
This brings us to another question - do natural cures for acne work? You know, the old home remedies that most moms know for how to get radiant skin and for clearing up pimples. It is said that most people with acne have the problem due to some imbalance in their diet, or with their hormones. By that logic, some simple changes in your diet could prevent your skin from breaking out.
The resoning behind this is that one of the ways the body gets rid of toxins is through the pores of the skin. For some people, some foods they eat contain things that their body considers to be toxins, and the explusion of the toxins through the skin cause zits and pimples (acne). One food you may have heard that is suspected of triggering acne is chocolate, or the caffeine in the chocolate.
Some might say guys have it a bit easier when it comes to acne. One reason could be that guys grow facial hair, masking a large portion of their blemished skin. Another reason is that some of us females get acne breakouts before periods (when we also tend to get chocolate cravings, yikes). Menstrual acne breakouts are hormonal, and that's a more frustrating acne type since it can't be treated like typical acne.
The argument has been turned around with the fact that women can wear make up to hide their blemishes but men can't, but depending on how sever your acne is it doesn't help all that much. Either way, it's no wonder there is such a search for acne cures people can really use. It also isn't a wonder why looking at diet when trying to cure acne makes so much sense.
If you've been struggling for a long time with acne, and the store bought topical products aren't working, perhaps it's time to look into what you're ingesting as a cause for your skin trouble. Things like dairy and vegetable oils have also been named as potential causes for acne breakouts.
So again, if there are things we can eat to cause breakouts, is it really hard to believe that there are foods that can promote clear skin? Afterall, isn't 'clear' skin really just 'healthy' skin?
There are a number of natural acne cures online that claim to take care of the problem from the inside out, promoting clear skin that lasts forever. One in particular is called 'Acne No More.' This natural acne remedy lays out in detail a few diet changes that result radiant, clear, healthy skin for life. Sound too good to be true?
